**Description:**
Up for auction is a lovely example of a classic 1970s traditional British specimen rod, custom-built onto a premium 11ft Fibatube blank rolled in Alnwick, England.

This rod features a highly desirable unequal two-section configuration (64-inch butt section and 68-inch tip section). This structural design shifts the ferrule joint lower down the blank to preserve a perfectly smooth, parabolic through-action when fighting hard-fighting river fish.

**Build Features:**
- **Blank:** Rich translucent reddish-brown hollow fibreglass in excellent structural order.
- **Handle:** Full length classic cork handle equipped with dual knurled aluminium sliding reel bands.
- **Guides:** Upgraded with high-performance vintage Fuji multi-leg guides featuring distinct white shock-absorber inner ring liners (perfect for line protection).
- **Whippings:** Exceptionally neat, translucent amber/brown factory-style thread wraps, completely flat and intact under smooth varnish coats.
- **Bag:** Includes the original deep burgundy cloth rod bag featuring the clean, original stitched white Fibatube Alnwick label.

**Condition:**
The rod is in good condition there are signs of use, please study the photos usable condition. The blank is straight, the ferrule spigot joint fits tightly with plenty of life left, and the cork is solid with only light age-related weathering.
